Merengue arrived at Los Barrios pound in March 2023 and was about 1,5 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Malinois that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.What a stunner!!! He is such an amazing young boy. He loves to play and has a lot of energy, living in a cage for most of the day is stressful for him... He is really smart, and picks things up super quick, he gives you eye contact and has an amazing desire to work with you. He knows a couple of cues already; sit and to give his paw. He is great with people and other dogs off the lead. He walks well on the lead most of the time. Merengue is very lucky to be with another association at the moment, as their settings are less stressful and much better for him, but he still needs a home of his own - a family with malinois experience.
