River is a sweet and loving girl who arrived at the pound in April 2025, around six and a half years old. She was found on the street, presumably abandoned by her previous owner, and has had a long and difficult journey since.It has taken many months to have her microchip released so she could be adopted and undergo surgery. River has a large lump under her chin and an even bigger lump on her back, both of which are growing. A kind supporter from Gibraltar has generously contributed toward her surgery, but she would recover far better in the comfort of a loving home.River has spent about seven months in limbo, waiting for her chance at a safe and caring environment—an experience no dog deserves. She is gentle, affectionate, and full of love, despite everything she has been through.River has just been listed for adoption this November.
