Mapache arrived at Los Barrios pound in June 2025 and was about 10 months old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.Mapache – a stunning young boy full of loveMapache is a truly beautiful young dog who arrived at the shelter at around 10 months old in June. He’s a big, gentle boy with a heart full of love and a deep longing for affection and companionship.He gets along well with other dogs and loves going for walks. Mapache walks nicely on the lead, enjoys little breaks along the way for treats and cuddles, and when the weather is warm, he loves cooling off in the river — pure joy for him!Sadly, walks don’t happen as often as he would like, as there are too few volunteers. Most of the time, this sweet boy has to stay in his small cage, patiently waiting for those precious moments of freedom and attention.Mapache deserves so much more — a loving home where he can stretch his legs, explore the world, and share his endless affection with his own family. Whoever opens their heart to him will gain a loyal, gentle, and truly wonderful companion.
