Furia arrived at Los Barrios pound in November 2023 and was about 4 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.Furia is a handsome and charming dog with a heart full of love to give. He loves going out for walks and is wonderful on the lead; he walks calmly, doesn’t pull, and is thrilled to take little breaks where he can enjoy some treats and cuddles.Furia is fantastic with people and always ready to show off his obedience by responding to basic commands. His love for treats makes him a joy to train, and he’ll likely excel in any training sessions with his new family.Although Furia hasn’t been formally introduced to other dogs yet, he can sometimes seem a bit selective when passing by their cages. This behavior could be due to the stressful pound environment and the fence barriers. With proper introductions in a calm setting, he might get along well with other dogs.Unfortunately, due to a shortage of volunteers, Furia and the other dogs at the pound don’t get to go out on walks as often as they should. This makes it even more important to find him a loving home where he can receive the attention and affection he deserves.Furia’s affectionate nature and eagerness to learn make him a fantastic companion.
