Botas arrived at Los Barrios pound in December 2025 and was about 2 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous Malinois that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.Botas is a beautiful Malinois girl who arrived at the pound in December 2025 at around two years old. She came to us with a broken leg and has since undergone surgery, which she is recovering from very well. She has shown remarkable strength and resilience throughout her healing process.After her operation, Botas was placed in foster care, where she proved to be a very sweet, loving, and affectionate dog with people. Unfortunately, she was not comfortable living with cats or small dogs, so she had to return to the pound. Her foster family told us that she did well with both male and female dogs, as long as they were at least medium-sized.At the moment, Botas is continuing her recovery in a small cage at the pound — far from the calm, stable environment she truly needs. She is a gentle, loving girl who enjoys human contact and deserves the chance to recover both physically and emotionally in a real home.We truly hope to find Botas the family she deserves very soon — a home where she can feel safe, understood, and finally start the next chapter of her life.
