Kiwi arrived at Los Barrios pound in February 2024 and was about 2,5 years old on arrival - the first time he arrived! He is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.Kiwi – a loving dog looking for a stable forever homeKiwi arrived at the pound in February 2024 and was adopted in October 2024. Unfortunately, the family returned him just a few months later, in February 2025. A short time after, they asked about him again. Kiwi had a difficult period at the pound—he was very stressed, and the pound had to be evacuated due to heavy rain. He was temporarily placed with their friends until the family was ready to take him back home—but after a few months, the family stopped responding. Then, in October 2025, Kiwi was returned to the pound once more. Poor boy—abandoned twice by the same people.Through all of this, Kiwi has remained a sweet, affectionate dog who craves attention and love. He has been integrated with other dogs and has done well with the ones he has met so far, though he is not compatible with cats. Kiwi would likely thrive as the only dog or with a calm, gentle female companion.Kiwi would flourish in a home where he receives daily walks, affection, and the stability he has missed so far.
