Barril arrived at Los Barrios pound in June 2025 and was about 2.5 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Malinois that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.Barril is a young and active Malinois who was about two and a half years old when he arrived at the pound in June.He is noble, gentle, obedient, and always eager for affection. Despite everything, he hasn’t lost hope — he’s a loyal companion full of love, waiting for someone who knows how to earn his trust. He walks well on the lead and enjoys his rare walks. When he goes out, he loves to head to the river and take a dip, especially on a hot day.During the day, he spends time on the patio with other dogs and gets along well with them.He is currently living in a small cage at the pound with another female and patiently waits for someone to look beyond his breed and see the wonderful dog he truly is. Malinois are intelligent dogs who need daily exercise and mental stimulation, which can make it more difficult to find the right family for them.He deserves a family to call his own.
