Baco arrived at Los Barrios pound in April 2024 and was about 18 months old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.Baco – A Handsome Boy Searching for Stability..Baco first arrived at the pound in April 2024. This was his description then:"Baco, a young and incredibly good-looking chap who captures hearts right away. He's got that special charm that makes everyone want to cuddle him. Baco just loves people, and cuddles seem to be his favorite thing to do. He's also great with other dogs, always ready for a playful game. But Baco dreams of finding a forever home where he can feel safe and loved."In November 2024, Baco finally got his chance and was adopted. Sadly, in January 2025, he was returned to the pound as the adoption did not work out. He struggled with the constant change between living in a caravan and a house and never truly settled.Baco needs a permanent home with outdoor space where he can feel comfortable and secure. He loves spending time outside and needs more room than being tied up next to a campervan. Now, poor Baco is back in a tiny, dark, and damp cage. He is heartbroken, crying, and completely confused about what has happened.This sweet boy deserves a second chance at a stable and loving home. Thankfully, the shelter kindly offered that he could stay with them for a while longer, especially as we continue to struggle with lack of space at the pound.We recently received a short video of Baco walking on the beach — he was clearly enjoying himself. But despite this moment of joy, he is still living in a small cage at a crowded shelter. This is not the life he deserves.
