Raton arrived at Los Barrios pound in March 2025 and was about 11 months old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.Raton – A Handsome and Playful Young Boy in Need of a HomeRaton is a charming young boy who has so much love to give. He is sweet, playful, and enjoys the company of other dogs—especially females. His fun and joyful nature will surely bring warmth and laughter to any home.Recently, Raton went out on one of his very first walks outside the pound. At first, he was understandably overwhelmed—so much to see, hear, and smell after being confined for so long. He was excited, pulling on the lead and barking at some of the dogs passing by. But with a bit of time and reassurance, he began to calm down and did so much better. This little guy simply needs the opportunity to experience the world at his own pace, and daily walks would do wonders for him. He would absolutely love to be part of an active, patient family that can show him what life outside the pound is really like.Sadly, Ratón currently spends more than 23 hours a day in a tiny cage, which he shares with another male and a female. He longs for freedom, companionship, and affection.
