Keny arrived at Los Barrios pound in November 2025 and was about 11.5 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous Pitbull Terrier.Keny’s story is sadly one we see far too often. He originally lived with a couple who adopted him and another dog elsewhere, not from our organisation. When the relationship ended, the woman left and took one of the dogs with her. Keny was left behind.After this, Keny was taken to a rooftop terrace of a family home, where he lived alone for an unknown period of time. He was seen there day after day, always alone, with no sign of regular care, food or water.Concerned members of the public contacted the Local Police, who intervened. In the end, Keny’s owner officially signed him over.Now at the perrera, Keny finds himself abandoned once again — and at 11 years old. He is a senior dog who deserves stability, care and a quiet place to feel safe. This poor boy has lost his home through no fault of his own.We hope that Keny can find a compassionate home where he can spend his later years with dignity, comfort and love.
