Persan arrived at Los Barrios pound in January 2026 and was about 6.5 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous German Shepherd that was handed in by his owner. Persan is a stunning 6-year-old German Shepherd who has recently come to the pound along with another dog, Rufo, a Breton. He spent the last three years in the same home, but unfortunately, his owner can no longer care for them due to financial difficulties and the need to undergo knee surgery.Persan is a true sweetheart with a fantastic temperament. He is very manageable, friendly, and forms quick bonds with people—and even with other dogs, as seen in his caring attitude toward Rufo. He is loving, gentle, and ready to find a new forever home where he can feel safe and cherished.Persan is looking for a family who can give him affection, attention, and a stable environment.
