Ursula arrived at Los Barrios pound in December 2025 and was about 3 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.Ursula is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl who arrived at the pound in December 2025. She is estimated to be around three years old. We don’t know her past, but it seems she may have had a few litters. From the moment you meet her, it’s clear just how loving and people-oriented she is.Ursula truly adores human attention and happily soaks up every cuddle she can get. She is affectionate, gentle, and eager to connect, often leaning in for closeness and enjoying calm, quiet moments with her person. She already knows how to sit and give her paw, and she clearly enjoys showing off her little tricks — especially when it earns her praise or a cuddle. When out on walks, Ursula is a joy to be with. She walks nicely on the lead, doesn’t pull, and seems unfazed by the light traffic on the rural road around the pound or by other dogs passing by. However, she does show a reaction towards cats, so we believe she would be best suited to a home without cats. She is also happy to pause during walks for a bit of affection before continuing on her way, making time spent with her feel calm and rewarding.Ursula has also spent time out in the patio with a few different male dogs, and she seemed to be fine with them. It is still early days, and we are continuing to get to know her, but these interactions have been encouraging so far.Sadly, like so many dogs at the pound, Ursula doesn’t get out very often due to the high number of dogs and the limited number of volunteers. She spends over 23½ hours a day in her cage, and when she is let into the patio during cleaning, she is there completely on her own. It’s clear that she is longing for companionship and would thrive with regular human contact.Ursula is a lovely medium-sized girl with a gentle soul and so much love to give. She would flourish in a home where she can enjoy walks, attention, and the closeness she is missing right now — a home where she is no longer alone, but truly part of a family.
