Olivo arrived at Los Barrios pound in January 2024 and was about 3 years old on arrival. He is a cross breed that was found presumably abandoned in the streets and brought to the pound.Olivo arrived at the pound in January 2024, around three years old at the time. He is a small, nicely sized boy, weighing only about 8 kg. When he first arrived, he was very wary of people, but he has made remarkable progress over the first months.He has become much more comfortable with people he knows and loves to show his affection through cuddles, hugs, and kisses. Olivo is a real sweetheart once he gets to know you — he especially enjoys putting his little face into your chest and just enjoying a short, tender moment of love.He can still be a bit selective with new human friends, but with patience and understanding, he quickly warms up to the people he likes. Olivo enjoys going for walks and is very good on the lead, making him an excellent companion for outdoor activities. He gets along well with other dogs, but he would do best in a home without small children.Olivo has now been waiting at the pound for nearly two years — two very long years in a small cage with very little human attention.
