Caterpie arrived at Los Barrios pound in October 2025 and was about 5 years old on arrival. She is a gorgeous Malinois that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.Caterpie arrived at the pound in October, around five years old. She is a beautiful Malinois who has been through an unimaginable ordeal. When she arrived, she was in a terrible state — suffering from a severe mite infestation that had left an open, infected wound on her neck. The poor girl must have been in so much pain.Thankfully, Caterpie has now fully recovered and is doing so much better. She is wonderful with people and enjoys gentle affection and attention. We are currently working on helping her feel more comfortable around other dogs, as she isn’t yet keen on sharing her space.After everything she has endured, Caterpie truly deserves a loving home where she can finally experience kindness, safety, and the happy life she was denied for so long.
