Wax arrived at Los Barrios pound in June 2025 and was about 11 years old on arrival. He is a gorgeous bull Terrier Crossbreed that was found presumably abandoned on the streets and taken to the pound.Wax – a senior soul longing for peaceWax is around 11 years old and has clearly lived a hard life. This elderly gentleman was found together with Siara and has spent much of his time fending for himself on the streets, which shows in his tired eyes and quiet demeanour.Now safe at the pound, Wax deserves comfort, kindness, and a peaceful place to rest – perhaps for the first time in his life. He is not looking for much, just a caring home where he can spend his final years surrounded by warmth and compassion.He is good with other dogs.Update August 2025 ✨Today was a very special day for some of our dogs. 🐾 Together with our wonderful volunteers, Bunny, Vampi, Wax and Focus visited the Residencia de Ancianos in Los Barrios.They brought so much joy and comfort to the residents, who were delighted to spend time with them, stroking them and enjoying their gentle company. After the visit, the dogs went for a little walk through the town, where they all behaved beautifully and showed just how well they can adapt to new situations.Our volunteers were incredibly proud of them – and so are we! These moments remind us of how special our dogs truly are, and how much love they have to give to the right family.Please consider opening your heart and home to Wax. He truly deserves a gentle new beginning.
